EVERY episode is fantastic this season, this def could have been a season finale, glad it wasn’t but OMG so good.
The medical tent, very cool, the doc having all that blood and knowing all there medical histories, awesome. Jesse still protecting Walt against Gus, for now, i hope Gus dosent turn Jesse.
Ted is a fucking idiot, love when the thugs show up, but o man trip idiot mode. Wonder if that will go much further?
So serious when Walt causes the car crash like WOW!!! Gus should give him mad props for that. Sad when Jesse treats Walt like that and then Walt gets stun gunned. Gus fires him in the desert, that walk home prob sucked. Walt should just disappear the whole family including Hank. When Walt finds out Skylar gave the money to Ted, epic!! As Skylar finds out Hank is a hunted man again!! Next weeks episode is gonna be amazing!
Weak story , awesome everything else, like weak cyber men problem, but amazing interaction with the doctor the baby and craig.
So its been 200 years….. i was hoping to see some of those adventures, maybe one day. But whatever, i def want them to get to this impossible astronaut shit, so if they need to fast forward 200 years for that fine.
Very touching moments when the doctor, once again, tells craig how terrible he is for always putting people he cares about in danger, and Craig tells him no way hes a saving grace. Craig defeats the cybermen with the power of love…..for his child…. Overall excellent adventure episode with some great and funny doctor moments.
Madame Kovarian has a way to easy time jumping River Song, shouldnt river just beat there asses? Whatever, Cant wait for the newest episode!!!
I hate when they dont show them arriving in a new place. They use to do that with the show sliders and hated it then 2.
Didn’t really understand the concept of what was actually happening in this episode, more so then usual, weak writing. Something to do with a system breakdown in a prison AND theres a space minotur that eats your beliefs/faith….. Decent interaction with the characters tho. Some really good moments with the doctor and the other characters, usually like the episodes where its doctor vs External mysterious force, while he keeps group safe, surprised that many people died. The doctor seems more upset by the more interesting of a person you are when you die.
This episode just seemed to provide a way for the doctor to admit to himself what kind of dangers he exposes the people he cares about to, BUT we’ve been down this road before….. SO he drops Amy and Rory off and dips. I think Rory and Amy are the best companions of the new series yet, mostly because they are married and that provides really nice conflict. But there will be a reason for him coming back to them, but dosent the doctor have to get like 100yrs+ or something of adventuring done before he dies? And wouldn’t this probably be the last time Amy and Rory see him alive? I think they are both out till next season.
Next episode brings back Craig, hyped for that, they had some cool moments. Then after that its a River song episode. Then i think Doctor Who takes a break, until Christmas episode set during WW2. Hope they wrap this death thing up before the show takes a break.
This is def an episode where Walt Jr. really steps up. Its his birthday and they really turn him into a “man”, i really enjoyed the interaction between Walt and Walt jr. I felt sad when walt calls him Jesse, but that really drives home the point of how bad Walt feels about the night before.
Skylar is attempting to clean up a mess but her ex-boss is an idiot, I like that she has problems of her own, Saul is basically a cure all to all problems. IDK why that dude just dosent pay the IRS and get them the fuck off his back, but now that he knows it was Skylars money, well see what he does next. Very interested to see where they take this with Skylar in the last 3 episodes. Hope they have a decent Season finale to set the final season up.
Jesse takes charge like such a boss, LOVED IT! His hesitation to get on the plane lets us all know he still unsure about everything thats going on. Then OH shit! Gus kills everyone, BAM! Revenge. Such a cool scene. Weak Mike gets shot at the end and Jesse is left to be the hero. Jesse is going to end up saving Gus. I hope Mike dosent die, but if he does will Jesse take up his major role for Gus?
Marnie puts a fork through Jesus hand i was like”O SHIT!”, right there i knew he was a dead man, a little sad. Word that Lafayette’s got his powers now, def hope to see more with this next season. Later Lafayette is hella sad and Jesus comes and sees him via ghost, and says you can see me wheneve you want, then disappears……jump in Lafayette’s body or something and make internal ghost love to him or something, geez.
Glad they adressed Sookie getting her job back since her and Sam havent had much interaction this season, i thought it strange he didnt go in to detail AT ALL about his brother dying, and along with his mini adventure with Alcide.
Alcide and Sookie better hook up next season they’ve been hinting about it since they met, clearly shes not going to be with Bill or Eric and we dont really have to worry about Debbie getting in the way…WOW when Sookie blew her head off, Sookie clearly had like 5 seconds while sitting on top of her to mull it over and then was just like “BAM!”, kinda surprised Sookie would do that but i guess she did, at the very least, give Tara brain damage. Would have like to at least see the the tail end of Tara calling up her g/f and being like “Yeah i’m fine, just to ease your mind.” Is Tara dead?! I wanna say no, but honestly would prefer if she was.
Glad they just cut to Eric and Bill already tied up, cut to the chase. Nice seeing a throw back to Sookie’s Gram. Then Her gram gives her the advice “Its ok not to be with someone….”, duh, still tho i bet she hooks up with Alcide next season.
Terry’s war buddy shows up, def a set up for next season, throw back to Rene, warns Arlene to watch out for Terry, LOVE the way Rene talks, how could Terry be that bad in comparison to Rene?! Wish they could bring Rene back permanently.
Sad Pam :(. Love her tho. I feel like Sam didn’t tell ANYONE about his brothers death/funeral, Sookie would have been there at least, if not for the simple reason out of respect for Sam. Uh Oh Sam’s surrounded by werewolves, i would just assume that Alcide was new pack leader, maybe he is and this is just supposed to look like trouble for Sam but isn’t really.
What was Hoyt doing exactly, road construction…..by himself? Glad Jessica and Jason aren’t going to be going out, dont want to watch a story about there relationship. What the fuck is Steve Newlin doing as a vampire at Jasons door, maybe something to with Russell Edgington?? And oh shit who dug him up???!!!
Awesome when Bill and Eric just kill up on Nan Flanagan. LOVED IT, they kinda seemed like lovers, Bill and Eric, They prob should be in the next season, just push Sookie out. Wonder how Russel will, if at all, will come at Bill and Eric, maybe peacefully maybe vengefully, might work with them against the Authority. I’m convinced Sookie has some kinda Succubus power…..
Overall Awesome Season finale, Def one of the better ones ive seen lately, prob the best one they’ve ever had on True Blood, Glad they killed off alot of the characters to make room for some new ones. They set the next season Up awesomely everyone basically got there own cliffhangers, WAY BETTER then last seasons finale for sure.
I would have liked to see a little more from this episode, felt very anti climatic. Some more insight on the Three Families would have fleshed out some of the storyline, the whole season should have been introduced to them earlier on.
Charlotte blowing up Noah and Shapiro, dumb, barley cared about those characters at all especially Charlotte, weak character development, tho i liked Shapiro, more so cause of the actor that played him then the actual character.
The blessing explanation SUPER bogus, jacks blood template thing, not so bogus, BUT what the fuck is the blessing, “its been here a long time” bogus as fuck. I didnt really get why jack became mortal because of the blessing…..
Rex replacing his blood with Jacks, pretty obvious, once they showed the blood getting destroyed by the solider blowing himself up, i knew they had a secret supply. And wow all those soldiers had plenty of time to shoot that guy before he exploded himself. Very surprised and glad that they killed off Esther. Torchwood had some decent drama but didnt really push hard enough. So dumb when rex calls for Charlotte and some how she instantly knows that he knows she was the mole and just starts shooting at him, WOAH, that dosent really make sense, but whatever. And really what the fuck could “plan B” be?!!
I fear for the future of torchwood now that Rex is immortal, “What the hell did you do to me?” hopefully they take that away from him saying it will wear off or something. It could be interesting but whats going to happen with the characters NOW?! Was hoping for a better rap up.
Overall this was a sub par season finale, some decent twists and turns but not enough explanation for the whole idea behind the season. Starz wants to do another season but the writer says he wants to wait…..boo!
Why dosent Amy immediately leave that room once entering and realizing she went into the wrong room? Was there not a way for her to leave? Did i miss that? Rory had no problem with it.
Once again Rory and Amy adventure off without the doctor, this time the doctor def takes the backseat to the adventure, but like the last episodes before this, the group is separated…
Loved this episode alot, the sets had a cool designee feel to them. Excellent atmosphere.
How can a medical facility not detect that amy is an alien with only ONE heart? Would have liked to see more Amy growing older in the faculty messing with this and that, hacking the computer, gathering armor, creating a living space, hijacking her Rory robot etc. Thought it interesting how the older amy is bitter, but is warmed by younger self and Rory to change time.
Would have liked to see a bit more robot fighting, thought it strange how all of a sudden the robots birage Amy to the point of her having a hard time fighting them off with 3 people, but has lasted against them for years by herself. I knew future amy would never make it to the Tardis, def thought it was gonna be her self sacrificing that would keep her from it, but it was the doctor, decent twist i didn’t see coming. Overall very solid episode.
Always a fan of the Doctor who episode were its Who vs. environment.
Gus-centric episode, finally we get a little more back story to Gus, loved it. As usual breaking bad hits the nail on the head.
Gus has an answer for everything when hes being softly interrogated, calm and collected always.
Hank tricks Walt into taking him to Gus then demands he sticks a gps tracker on his car! Very intense drama there, especially when Walt talks to Gus inside, Very cool stuff.
Great job at making Hector look young, loved to see his character doing anything but ring a bell for once. Glad they made him a huge asshole too, love how they’ve showed how the tables have turned in the Hector/Gus relationship. Would love to see some more Gus backstory. The episode def left me wanting more. This season is def building towards something big, it all gonna be a big setup for the next season since its the last, i expect big moves in this season for that reason. I hope jesse dosent start to side with Gus over Walt.
The “house call” in my opinion is always an ultra lame reasons for doctor who to do anything, bad plot device. But whatever. Not really a fan of the stand alone episodes of Doctor Who.
I like how the doctor just sends Rory and Amy on a wild goose chase which gets them put into a lame doll house, recurring theme, they get shrunk down every week and go on their own mini adventure, super weak.
The building complex sucking people in to the doll house here and there made no sense, and people being turned into to dolls made even less sense. Why does a little boy have a doll house, and if your scared of it throw it the fuck in the garbage. Face fear and everything is put back to normal, show your son you love and except him for who he is, blah, blah, blah.
The little boy as a Tenza child was cool, thats about it story wise. Overall the episode was weak it was def a feel good doctor who episode, the doctor had some decent interaction and lines with George and the father, hopefully next weeks episode brings it.
Also interesting was the doctor seeing his death date.
“Fucking Sookie” always for real i feel like im saying that out loud, i really hate her as a character shes selfish and pig headed, glad someone on the show feels the same way. Anyway, really Bill and Eric were about to kill themselves over her!!!?? Unbelievable. Thank god for Pam. Decent Gore on Jasons face. And then Sookie joins in the witch circle along with Terra to do a spell, WTF, i feel like this has to be attributed to bad writing, the motives and quick decisions to act one way then the other dont really add up to me. AWESOME when Roy gets his heart pulled out and sucked on by Eric like a juicebox, then followed up by a weak Marnie kill, should have pulled her head off or something.
Jesus’s demon mask was really cool, glad they gave us a good look at it. Andys sex scene was weird, was that a fairy? Attempting to weave that aspect forgotten at the beginning of the show back in? Weak.
Alcide finally kicked Debbie to the curb, good. I predict he’ll be up on sookie in the next season. Sam killed Marcus, kinda sad i liked Marcus as a character, but better they kill him then give him some sub par plot in the next season.
Apparently you can just ghost rape Lafayette whenever he slightly opens his mouth, kinda lame, if i was him my first steps to having that “power” would be to learn how to prevent that.
I like that they tied up most the seasons arcs before the season ender, they def have the chance to set up a great cliff hanger for next years season. Unlike last seasons fairy world bullshit.
Excellent move moving the story ahead a couple months, but this should have been done around episode 6 not 9. Thought it was a bit sloppy the way they pushed Oswald Danes back in with the other characters, but whatever, his character is almost next to pointless. Gwen took up to much time during the beginning of this episode with her stupid family. The episode dragged and by the time it got to where it needed to be, speed wise, it was over. Jacks blood stuff is cool.
The blessing makes no sense, yet, very interested how they tie it all together. I expect alot for the final episode since they wasted so much time in the beginning of the season developing Rex and Esthers characters which i doubt will hang around next season, i half expect rex to die at the end of the season. I care not at all about Esthers crazy sister.
Hopefully they use the last episode to set up for a solid restart of a new torchwood established in america or wherever. I do love seasons dedicated to one big problem but it tends to over power the story so thats all you care about, hoping they get back to different mysteries every week with seasonal arcs that tie in.
